Mounted Bluray and SVCD Disks Wont Play #327

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

It seems that some types of mounted disks do not play in the GUI after
mounting. I think perhaps our check for valid files to start playing is a
bit too rigid?

well, I've got an error-window when mounting my HDD-Blu-ray-ISO-file as
mentioned
here
http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/moving-pictures-284/new-moving-pictures-
0-7-available-54396-post374487/#post374413.
I've noticed, that the error-window was just here, but the ISO-file was mounted
correctly, PowerDVD starts and the Blu-ray plays correct.

Solved my problem.
The drive letter in the daemon tools config section of the mediaportal has to
match
the drive letter in the daemon tools config.

I have the same error linked above as MP error msg1.jpg in my installation. I
have
1.0 of Media Portal, Moving Pictures latest release and VCD Beta emulating
Daemon
Tools. I had Daemon tools lite installed before I installed VCD Beta. This is
on
Vista Home Premium and I only get the error when I play an HD-DVD or Blu-Ray
.iso
with PowerDVD 7.3. I don't get it when playing SD DVD rips. The error doesn't
prevent the disc from playing, I just say ok to the error and it goes away.

well, I've the same Drive-letter in MP (Section DaemonTools) in in DaemonTools
itself.
The mentioned error is still alive with Blu-rays (ISO-Files)

This should be corrected for our next release (0.7.1) which will be available
in a
day or two.
