Moving Pictures is a movies plug-in for the MediaPortal media center application. The goal of the plug-in is to create a very focused and refined experience that requires minimal user interaction. The plug-in emphasizes usability and ease of use in managing a movie collection consisting of ripped DVDs, and movies reencoded in common video formats supported by MediaPortal.

Wierd idea: I have an HTPC and a Dune Smart B1 mediaplayer. I would like to
export my movie data for my Dune. It makes an easy but complex directory
structure, and makes JPG pictures from my records. (attached below)

The existing XBMC NFO Export methods as provided on the forum as 3rd party
method should do just that. It generates the NFO file containing all the
textual information as well as duplicate the fanart and cover images. The ideal
way is to combine this with the rename functionality (available as 3rd party
method and internal in plugin) where each media file ends up in its own folder.
This is because most media players such as the WD Hub, Boxee and others usually
work with filenames such as 'cover.jpg' and you would run into troubles then
with multiple movies in single folder.

Sorry joco, that is a nice idea but it is a little outside the scope of Moving
Pictures. As RoChess pointed out others have successfully created data seperate
data extration programs, one being the NFO file creator. Another being
LRFalk01's XML dumping program. So if this is important to you I would maybe
start doing research into those to see how they work. Good luck.
