Hey. This application is mainly a markdown viewer. Org mode support is only partial and for viewer mainly.
Er... I'm confused.
This app is promoted as a znotes creator and editor, and in fact, you can create a repository where the default file extension is ORG, and then get to create and edit notes with that file extension. I've a hard time aligning that with an application mainly being a viewer.
I can accept that Zettle Notes is all about Markdown. I've a harder time accepting that it treats ORG files as Markdown when creating and editing them.
You're absolutely right, Zettel Notes does let you use ORG files, and I can see how treating them like Markdown might be throwing things off. The app's main goal is Markdown, and ORG support is really more about viewing, with just a bit of editing.
I totally understand how that’s not ideal, especially when you’re actually creating and editing ORG files.

The app allows using the extension ORG, but doesn't at all adapt the editor accordingly. Choosing a header of any size will still make the line you edit start with a number of hashes, instead of a number of stars, for example.
The ORG extension is indicative of org-mode format, please don't confuse things.
