Suggestions on improving "Edit Course Details" page #254

In "Edit Course Details" page, when I try to edit multiple instructor information at same time and save it after editing all information. "Save changes" button only save the last one I have made. If I want to edit multiple instructors information, I have to edit and press "Save changes" immediately before I move to next one or the unsaved changes will disappear because the page will be refreshed after I press "Save changes".

  1. why "edit the instructor"? so this implies that for an instructor, as long as I provide the correct googleId, then the saving will be Okay? so what do name and email do? name is just for display and I can set the name to be anything for the instructor I am gonna add? what does that mean to that instructor? his name remains the same, but the display of his will be the name I assigned to him in this course? and email account is for receiving emails about this course so I can set any email even if that is not a valid email account or other people's account?
  2. so you mean you click on edit instructor1 first and then you move on to edit another instructor? but what you are saying is that you want all the changes you have made to be updated?

Theong Siang is doing some changes to this feature currently ( Issue 1711 ). We can KIV this until that one is done.

the email does not have to be the email account? any email is okay?

Any email address is OK. If the email address is incorrect, the instructor will not be able to join the course. There is no need to provide the Google ID any more. It will be 'discovered' when the instructor 'joins' the course, same as the case with students. The original issue reported is still valid.
