XBMC-Remote on And. always disconnects. You can use the app only as Remote but no DB-Functionality #518

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Startin And-App on Android 2.3.4
(complete Menu is visible)
2. Accessing TV-DB
No Entry. Same with Movies, Music,
3. Going back to Mainmenu on Phone: Just two Menu Entries: Remote & Connect

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Normally:
should access the Database and see my DB with SeriesCover
Instead:
Empty DB on Phone, in XBMC on the PC: DB is not empty.

When I push "connect", I get a Socket-Timeout Error

What version of XBMC Remote are you using?
0.8.6 beta1

Which Android device are you using (and which ROM, if custom)?
HTC Desire
GingerVillain 2.2
Android 2.3.4
Kernel: 2.6.38.4-defrost-bravo

Which XBMC revision are you running and on which platform?
XBMC 10.1 on Win 7

I had this problem at a friend's house. He uses MySQL on a slow atom-based NAS. 
The workaround was to make the 'socket read timeout' in 'Manage XBMC Hosts' 
larger. In his case I believe I made it 8000 or 10000.
