@Vance-ng-vn I literally can't install your addon because it keeps redirecting me to an NSFW ad page, which on top of it keeps spamming me with notifications. Please for the last time either move to a different ad provider or get rid of hose ads and move to a donation-based model like we've been telling you over and over again.

Unfortunately we will continue to remove your addons until this matter is resolved properly. Whining about it and spreading misinfomation on the subreddit doesn't help your case.

Once again, my provider vs pornTube are one and the same, and the ad format is also identical! As long as you don't remove pornTube and superFlix, I have no reason to change them!

And all the information on the subreddit is true; if you want, I am ready to provide evidence at any time!

Well you have a point. We've investigated those addons and have decided to remove them as well. That's only fair.

Now stop posting these ridiculous hate comments towards me, our moderators and the Stremio team so we can finally move on.

I am sharing with you the dark side of advertising, so you can decide whether to ban the config page from adding ads! But instead, you used it to attack me - and I have questioned many times why only my addon is being removed while others are not!

You have also not clearly pointed out what constitutes harmful ads!

First, you accused me of spreading viruses.
Then, when this was not true, you blamed malicious ads (specifically direct links - which could be related to malware).
Then, when I removed the direct links, you blamed the harmful design.
Then, after removing the key activation button, the current issue of harm revolves around some advertiser websites trying to sell traffic through "web push notification" ad networks - specifically related to popup and social bar ad formats!

=> In the end, only banner ads are left as viable; so, is this a violation?

Your attempts to label an ad network as harmful are not entirely accurate, as it is similar to Stremio, where users streaming content directly from torrents face legal risks related to copyright laws!

The ad formats of an ad network are like using HTTPS vs. torrents! Currently, I have not detected issues like viruses or web push on their banner ads! So, are banners legal?

And it's not that I'm holding onto this ad network, but you can check out the advertising networks available on the market!

List: https://www.affpaying.com/advertising-networks

There is no ad network that accepts a landing page with traffic around 100-1000/day.
And they only offer advertising in CPM, CPC formats and do not support CPA - using such ads, in my opinion, is practically useless!

So in the end, do you accept banner ads or not?

And don't try to compare by saying that some addons don't have ads! Everyone has their own purpose when building an addon!

With elfhosted, they label elfhosted everywhere to promote their service, and most recently, they released the Comet addon, which requires users to rent their service to use certain features!

Torbox and some other addons (most recently related to RPDB) are also promoting their services!

The rest are the addons on baby-beamup, and most of them are either non-functional or ineffective!

As for the addons that truly come from the community, comparing them to the ones mentioned above is meaningless!

** You frequently mention using the donate feature only, but you should remember why people use Stremio! Why do people like using Real-Debrid (because it costs just $3)! The donation feature is not meaningless; some people feel frustrated when they can't support something they like! (So I get the money, and they feel satisfied in their part)! Previously, I set the donation at $1, but the transaction fee was often $0.5, so I increased it to $3.99!

In summary, donations are not the ideal model for a Stremio addon!

Additionally, Stremio itself is also linked with some ad networks! I remember checking this ad network not long ago; it is an almost unknown network, and in my region, there were almost no ads!

But a few days ago, I received an email from RPDB and some addons directly related to RPDB, leading me to speculate that Stremio or this ad network is also sharing user information with third parties!

You're free to advertise your addon however you want as long as those ads don't pose risks towards Stremio users (malware, crypto scams, phishing etc.). It's not rocket science.
