could serve our users better by keeping a separate calendar of kwiqet events.

this would allow for finer sync control and whatnot.

You can't create new calendars from the iPhone in iOS4.x or earlier. This functionality is being added in iOS5 however, so we'll be able to do the above in a couple months.
