Deleted messages not really gone #155

When I mark a message as deleted, I get the notification that it was marked as deleted but if I refresh my mail list (get mail) that or those deleted mesages reappear in the Inbox.

I don't usually go to the Bin to delete permanently the messages (yes, I am too lazy to do it) but here it seems that the deletion mark doesn't get applied or saved.

Any hint? maybe a bug?

Can you paste the ~/.vmail/defaults/vmail.log output that you get when you try deleting a message and don't actually manage to delete it?

It tries to delete it and it disappears from the list but as soon as I update the list (recheck email) it gets back.

@lungpu, @Integralist, there were some reported issues about deleting emails for non English Gmail accounts. If your Gmail is not in English, maybe you are encountering a related issue. This issue has been fixed in version 2.9.0. Some additional configuration will be required as documented in this wiki. Let me know if your Vmail client still has this problem after update.

My email account is set to language=English but maybe locales do perturb the script. I will check with version 2.9.0 andn write back to you with feedback.

I installed from germ this afternoon. NB . I have french gmail account.
