In Excel there is a functionality that we can restrict user to enter a value
available in a list, I am not sure whether this functionality has been
implemented already, if so, could anybody please guide me on how to use it?
In Excel we can go to Data >> Validation and in OOO Calc, we can go to Data >>
Validity for this functionality.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I've checked out from read only repository, not sure about version, but I guess
this is latest. Using it on Windows XP with SP3. MS Office has not been
installed on my machine.
