Doesn't import / export when app loses focus and/ or phone is in sleep #55

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Import/ export and press home, the io service is disconnected
2.Import/ export and phone goes to sleep
3. Import/ export and other app steals focus.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect a resume at the least, the connection is lost and it has to start 
again.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Android 2.1 ( had the same problem with 1.5)

Please provide any additional information below.
