xenops does not render, if there is text before the closing \], \end{equation} or \end{align}.
While it renders:
\[ x=3
\] % no text before \]
it does not render:
\[ x=3 \] % text before \]
to provide a very frequent example.
My coauthors, unfortunately, do not follow this strict writing style. It would be really helpful if xenops would not care if there is text before the closing statement.
