[CLOSED] Reduce dependencies using home made utility methods

I would like to remove:

• commons-lang => OK
• commons-beanutils => TODO
• reflections (which brings guava, javassist and dom4j) => OK

Closing this one because most of the work has been done. We'll see later if it's easy/worth removing commons-beanutils.
