Merge all Nix Home Manager updates that were done over the last 1.5 years. This will not go in immediately, as at this point I'm unable to fully migrate to Nix. This PR, then, will be followed by a handful of other commits to ensure this work is not lost, while still allowing all the mainline changes to exist. See #24.

Commits below this comment will be the work required to ensure this whole branch can be merged back into master, so that dotfiles can be benefit from all the changes put in while developing the Nix Home Manager compatibility.

Main updates:

Update paths
Update where some environment variables point
Re-add packages to dpm/brew that were migrated to Nix Home Manager
Update README
