This deprecation and the new KX11Extras class were introduced in KDE Frameworks 5.101, released in December 2012.

We want Crystal Dock to work for more users (e.g. ones with older systems) so this migration will be postponed for now.

Closing as Crystal Dock v2.0+ will only support Wayland.
