Works for all other positions (Top, Bottom, Right).

Seems a regression or some settings on later/latest version of KDE Plasma as it's working fine on KDE Plasma 5.12

Tested on Kubuntu 19.10, KDE Plasma 5.16.5 and it's working fine. Closing.

Reproduced in 5.17.4. Position - left, Visibility - Autohide.

so this wasn't or isn't just me. so is it fixed? i'm not assuming that it's fix just because you closed the thread. well just got my answer, and that is NO it is not fixed. want to open the thread till it's actually fixed on ALL linux distros? thanks

manjaro kde 18.1.5 rc2, ksmoothdock 6.2

@GraveDigger1 that wasn't my thread.. issue is not fixed. Issue is still the same as here, so no reason to create new duplicate, but if you want)

Well this can happen on some KDE Plasma versions, but it seems like some regression/setting on Plasma. I can only test on my systems, but I will keep checking.

this is my second install on two different manjaro kde versions if that helps any. i'll post in ksmooth's aur repository besides here.

@dangvd additional ltests done with two monitors. configuration - [1][0] Panel appears from left edge of 0 screen while you move mouse from 1 to 0. looks like interaction area misplaced. btw, got same issue for top position. In case you need some additional help - let me know. Thank you for your work @dangvd !

I had this problem in Neon 5.19 and found a setting in 'system settings-workspace behaviour-touch screen' which was on by default, switching it to 'no action' for the left hand side allowed ksmoothdock to function properly again on left hand side.
