Can I generate HTML sitemap using this tool?

Hi,

I wanted to use Google Sitemap Generator (Beta) to generate the sitemap for
one of my website.

I have the following queries regarding the sitemap generation:
1. Can I generate HTML sitemap using this tool?
2. Can I use the same HTML sitemap on the website?
3. Where I can find the HTML sitemap to be used on the website in the tool
once its generated?
4. How to generate XML sitemap using this tool?
5. Whether I need to submit the XML sitemap to Google once its generated?
6. If I need to submit the XML sitemap to Google manually, from where I can
find the XML sitemap in the tool?

yes,I installed sitemapgenerator today,and then config it.but I cannot find 
sitemap.xml file . where is it? 

when I check the log in /usr/local/google-sitemap-generator/log. I got below:
"
2010-11-16T08:24:42Z: Failed to write sitemap file [/htdocs/sitemap_000.xml].
"
and then I create folder /htdocs  .then the error is gone.but I still cannot 
not find
sitemap.xml.where is it ?
It is very confused me...
