Generated 2 files one ends with _000.xml #27

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. generating the xml file
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
normal output shoud be test.xml and I see 2 files. test.xml has only one
line pointing to test_000.xml file and test_000.xml that has all the lines.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
on Centos 5

Please provide any additional information below.

It seems also that is not taking my settings. I stil see all the folders I've
excluded. Maybe is a permission issue? On the 
/usr/local/google-sitemap-generator I
got 0775 permission

Actually you can have mutliple site map files on a site, due to size limit for
sitemap files ( I don't remember the file size at this moment). Therefore, the
sitemap generates sitemap index file which points to all sitemap files. In your 
case
'test.xml' is sitemap index file' and  'test_000.xml' is a first sitemap file. 
once
your sitemap file size grows beyond that limit, the generator will create new  
file (
may be with name 'test_001.xml')and also add that to site map index file.
