1 year ago Hi, agree totally. Problem is that the engine I'm using (feet2toot) has no option for limiting hashtags, only to disable them entirely. There is a hashtag-list feature, but as I understand it, it is just for the formatting of the hashtags not the filtering. Might be worth opening an issue or requesting a PR on feed2toot.
I've deactivated tags from the posts entirely now, so it's only #wordpress and one of our own hashtags #wpdev, #wpnotices or #wpmisc. It's not perfect but seems much better than before. Plus with this solution we avoid possible hashtags that might get us blocked on other instances.
