I also have this problem
Same problem here.
On Ubuntu 19.04 Got this message on top of application: This version of Chrome is not supported. Please upgrade to a supported version. My Chrome is the latest version: Version 74.0.3729.108 (Official Build) (64-bit)
This does not mean, your Chrome is outdated. This App uses Electron - a framework to build cross-platform applications. As the developer of this Trello Client didn't something for the last two years, in my opinion, you can continue using it, as long as it works and then you have to search for a new Trello Client or contribute yourself :)
Created pull request https://github.com/danielchatfield/trello-desktop/pull/61 Atleast linux version is working :)
I believe that Trello hosts their own Windows and Mac version of the Trello app. At least I don't see the same issue on my Win10 machine (getting the app from Trello). So the Linux version is all that really matters...or am I wrong about that?
@Racle, if your pull request gets accepted, does this mean that I'd need to reinstall? (I downloaded the zip...so unless there is a way to update, I'd have to get the new built app...or figure out how to build it myself...)
@sfwolfphys Yep, linux version is one that matters here. I made new release on my fork, as this repo seems to be abandoned for now. https://github.com/Racle/trello-desktop/releases/tag/v0.2.0
Just download latest version and unzip to same folder. Seems to be working.
