GCLoader doesn't reset back to boot.iso #5

Hey, so I'm having an issues with GCLoader not resetting back to boot.iso when using the in game reset option of swiss, the igr.dol seems to work okay but depending on the game it's hit or miss. But the soft reset option to reboot the system gives me an error that makes me have to power cycle the system, and my bios and boot.iso are the same region. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

@Sirethief2525 What are you using for your igr.dol? If it's a copy of a swiss dol, I would recommend using the boot.dol file extracted from the GBI iso disc image, and then renaming that extracted file to igr.dol

I have noticed the following with my GCLoader (with Swiss as the boot.iso): after I do an IGR within game, if I select the exit / return to IPL [ ]-> icon on the bottom-right of the Swiss interface, when I am in the GameCube IPL menu, going to Game Play shows the last game that I played, and not the GCLoader boot.iso. At that point, the only way to return to Swiss is power cycling the GameCube.

The workaround for this is if I have Boot through IPL enabled in swiss, and then load the boot.iso after I return to swiss from the IGR; that way, if I exit swiss, the Game Play menu option in the GameCube IPL recognizes swiss as the disc loaded instead of the last game ISO played.

Sorry to hijack the issue post, but I've just noticed a similar problem - I've just installed the GCLoader and am using the swiss_r845(ntsc-u).iso as the boot.iso with the swiss_r845.dol as the igr.dol.

I have the Swiss menu settings igr.dol to enable, but every time I try the in game reset it resets me back to the Gamecube logo screen with the message - 'the disc could not be read... Please read the Nintendo gamecube instruction booklet for information'

Is there something I'm missing with getting the in game reset to work? Or is it just not working with this build?

Thanks in advance for any help! I'd love to be able to reset back to the swiss menu without getting off my lazy ass!

Currently, igr.dol has to be on sd2sp2 card with GCLoader
