detailed instruction on what the path of the file to import should be (i.e. is it the file's absolute file path? or the relative file path?)

actual

a lot of information is given but does not state if absolute file path is accepted.

moreover, does not state clearly if file can still be imported if it is not located in the same directory as the JAR file of the application.
