Histogram time series for:

[ ] mean cut competition
[ ] realised competition

Critical - this is affecting notebook ability to run

Major improvements made. Histograms seem to run fine unless y_min (or y_max?) values are specified. This affects the number of bins. Code added to highlight this error when it occurs (catch fire).

It might be ok the way it is. Start running sims and come back to fix if necessary
