Currently citations are not rendered, they show only the bib handle

This is due to transitioning away from Pandoc for markdown rendering. Planning on transitioning to jekyll-scholar: https://github.com/inukshuk/jekyll-scholar

  • citation: See @bib_handle or ... finished.[@bib_handle; @bib_handle_2]
  • bibliography: automatic
• New format:
  • citation: {% cite bib_handle %} or {% cite bib_handle bib_handle_2 %}
  • bibliography: {% bibliography --cited %}

Some of the citations have been converted to the liquid style for jekyll-scholar, but they are not being rendered.

from w/in the commit message:

a plugin to process the cite and new cite-inline tags where jekyll-scholar wasn't running, need to add links (and probably just link to a single bibliography page, perhaps, but have tooltips with title and abstract on hover, could perhaps just link directly to the doi then, though still have a full bibliography page elsewhere.

currently there is a references on log (which needs to change, in format, substantially)
