You can apply for anyjob anywhere. As long as you have the stats requirements. #1752

Are we thinking we should have to travel to a city first before applying to a job in that city?

If so, I'd suggest perhaps we pair this change with a new API that lets you collect information about what cities have which companies / gyms so that these's a more elegant way to write singularity logic than hard-coding this data into scripts.

This would be a breaking change for singularity scripts, so perhaps you can pre-empt the change by first adding a quick commit to an upcoming release that adds a new log "ApplyToCompany" log output that warns of the upcoming change so folks have some lead time to update their scripts. Something like:

"WARNING: ApplyToCompany while not in the correct city. In v1.1.0 ApplyToCompany will require you to first travel to the city in which that company resides."

After sufficient lead time, the warning can be converted to an error.

No the problem is that you can apply to be a waiter at ecorp, which does not offer it.

It's fine that you can become a software engineer at ecorp from new tokyo

Aah yes, well with working remotely being the way of the future, I should have thought as much :)
