First of all I love your app (y)
I'm not too sure if this is the right way to submit a patch but here goes. The
attached patch against the current SVN tree almost completely fixes the
keyboard for me on both Linux and Windows (without using the ALT hack). It also
adds support for the DPAD arrow keys and the CONTROL key. Press DPAD center
followed by a letter for <Control>+{letter}. Press DPAD center again to release
the control key. The control key is automatically released after a key press.
All keys on the soft keyboard that are also present on a normal US 102 keyboard
work except the "]" key. For the life of me I can't figure out why (I'm not
getting the event on the Android side)... The hardware keyboard works too.
Tested on a Android Emulator 2.1update1/Motorola Milestone running 2.1update1
and Ubuntu 10.4/Windows XP.
Hope this helps you in your efforts and saves you some donkey work ;)
