wave height as fcn of wind speed and fetch #2

I will need to check into whether it can be expressed in the requisite form, but even an approximate version would be nice for teaching.

The CEM (ref below) following might be a source for reasonably up-to-date formulae.

The URL is tricky to work with since the downloaded files seem to be some kind of pdf flavour of tarball, so the way to get individual chapters is to load with adobe, select a chapter, then download that chapter. I've done this, for Part II, and have found that example II-2-9 (page 70 of the file EM_1110-2-110_CH_02.pdf) has a nice worked example. I haven't checked on the copyright, so I will not reproduce that page, but will state that this is an example with a 30m/s wind over fetch 50km, and the significant wave height is calculated to be 4.1m, while the peak of the spectrum is at period 6.7s.
