Unable to Install Tool #1

When attempting to install MethylCIBERSORT using R 3.6.1 on the Hoffman2 Cluster, I receive an error saying that the version of R I am attempting to use is incorrect. Please let me know if anyone has a recommended solution.

Hi @ryanalomair. Can you please post the output of the R console with the error?

Can I also double check you're trying to install MethylCIBERSORT 0.2.1 from a tar.gz archive? Although we are not the original authors of the package, I am happy to try and guide you through installation

One thing I realized is that MethylCIBERSORT 0.2.1 is a rar file rather than zip file which might cause some issues on Mac.

Hi Hsiao yi, we aren't the guys who made the original MethylCIBERSORT 0.2.1 but yes it seems like the package at https://zenodo.org/records/1298968 is a .rar not a .zip. For anyone else with the same issue on a Mac. You can rename the file to .rar and then open using The Unarchiver https://theunarchiver.com
