What is the point of the src/obj folder, if it is used only at build time, then you should remove it from git.

This is what I was doing originally-- unfortunately, the makefile was not making the src/obj folder when building, which caused a significant problem for a user that builds the repository from source. This is now fixed in commit c745529ea58b76de80f0950fedea2fc61f5cc5f8.
