misc: get a logo! #6

It would be nice to see the project get a logo for some... color? Something along the lines of this box from noun project with a old flat-color wine logo snapped onto the front might just do.

Maybe something like this? I'm definately not good enough with Inkscape to do a good enough version, but I'd love to see a logo like this on the project. boxedwine

My art ability is not that great, I currently use this one.

But something with a box in it would be pretty cool. Maybe an actual box of wine with a spout that has a windows logo on it next to a class of wine. When I think of boxed wine, I think of that cheap wine actually sold in a box instead of a bottle of wine in a box. But I like the ideas so far. Maybe something base on this but with the Windows logo? BoxedWine_3

@buzztiaan I really like where that one is going. I'm just wondering about the side.

Some brainstorming ideas:

Maybe something like makes it look like a pc, maybe an image of floppy, floppy drive, cd, cdrom, computer internals or cpu chip? I'm not really sure what would look retro (since I focus on older games) and says emulator.

Maybe the side could be the front of an old CRT monitor

Maybe the side could be an old IBM PC like this https://www.vectorstock.com/royalty-free-vector/retro-computer-from-90s-vector-21817388

Maybe the side could look like an old PC Game Box on the back?

I tried a couple of idea using MS Paint (very rough), but I think it looks a little too busy. testBox testPC

i'll try to think something up :) when i think about retro computing, i think about tape-drives, but i guess you want it a bit more IBM after-1990 ;)

this morning i also found the box and glass too white vs the background, i'll also try to add some more color to the whole thing.

how about something like the IBM PCXT powerswitch on the side?

like this :

@buzztiaan I like the power switch idea, its more subtle.
