SAMBA doesn't accept username-password of a user.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a user on SNAKE-OS 1.3.2 
2. Create a sharing folder accessible by the user in step 1.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When you try to access this folder from a windows (XP, Vista, 7) the windows 
machine doesn't accept the username/password.
SAMBA works great only with folders that have permissions to '-Everybody-'.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
SNAKE-OS 1.3.2

Please provide any additional information below.

I am answering to my previous question.

After some tests I almost solved the problem I had.

- Go from firefox or Chrome or internet explorer to the web menu of your 
Snake-OS by writing the IP address (for example 192.168.1.1 or //snake).

- Go to 'My NAS -> Services -> Samba' and change the 'Samba security mode' from 
"Password only or anonymous" to "User and password required". Click on 'Apply'.

- Create user: Go to 'My NAS -> Sharing -> Users' and create a user by giving 
the username, password and the FTP folder you want for him to have access.

- Go to 'My NAS -> Sharing -> Shares' and create a sharing folder by defining 
the user you want to have access on this folder.

- Go to 'My NAS -> System -> Config' and click on 'Save config'.

You can now have access to your sharing folders on Windows XP by writing 
\\192.168.1.1 on your file explorer address field (replace the 192.168.1.1 with 
the IP address you gave to your Snake-OS file server). The simplest way is to 
write \\snake on your file explorer but this wasn't work some times for me. 
Remember, the \\snake or \\192.168.1.1 must be written in file explorer's field 
not in your web browser's address field.

At beginning, Windows XP will ask you about the username and password of a 
user. If you give them, you will have access to folders for -Everyone- and to 
the folders for the user you selected. If you want to have access to folders 
that you gave access for another user you must do a LOG-OFF from the windows XP 
(change user option) and then do a login and try again to access the other 
folder by giving the username and password of the second user you created in 
the stage 'Create user'.  

From my Ubuntu linux I can have access only to the folders accessed by 
-Everyone- . I cannot access folders accessed by username/password. I will 
search for solution.

From my Windows 7 premium I did the registry modification to have access on 
Snake-OS sharing folders.
