can not get snake interface #256

I have a problem with the snake : I can see the files downloaded via 
Transmission, 
But I can not get the Snake interface at all. I can see it is connected at 
10.0.0.7, but get an error when I try to connect.
All the services, firewall etc. seems ok. 
What can be the problem ? Do you think the device itself is faulty ?
