2. the lights in the RJ45 port dont blink
3. the lights in the RJ45 port dont blink, the USB ports keep providing energy

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
i cant acess my nas

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
snakeos-V1.3.2-20111019-from-snake.zip

Please provide any additional information below.
in the past 2 weeks the NAS was very unstable, tranmission always shuting down,
yesterday, for the first time i see the FTP service stoped, by snake i presume.

I already brougth the ferrites that someone says improve the stability, but
they haven´t arrive yet. For what i'm seeing maibe i dont even need them.
leave just the power

i disconect all the wires and wait for the temperature go down, try again and
nothing, even with just the power cable connected the temperature increases a
lot and i dont get why.

Any sugestions?

I think i will need to go to rasperby pi, bye snake.

Anyone with similar issues?

This happened to me once (no web connectio, no SSH, no ethernet leds), the
solution was to buy a serial cable and flash everything again. I don't how, but
it worked!

Check out the apparatus:

My raspberry has arrived, cool xbmc player, but i miss the transmission 24/7,
and perform both tasks seems too much to ask, i´m thinking try to revive the
device. the only thing i don´t understand so far is the cable i have to use.
The mentioned apparatus is 3clips connected to the board and then some how
connected to a stripped normal usb cable?
i'm thinking or revival to this one, or another pi to do the job of the dead
nas, keeping the one i have to media center.
