Feature Request - Syslog Hostname Resolution #52

I would like to add a feature request. This was discussed a couple of weeks ago 
on the IRC channel:

Capability for the integrated syslog server to resolve incoming requests to 
hostname.

This function should be optional of course.
The hostname should be added to a separate metadata field rather than replace 
the IP address. e.g. ip address in @source_host and the hostname added to 
@source_hostname.

There should also be the option to capture either the FQDN or just the hostname 
(excluding the domain name).

Hope this makes sense.

BTW, we use jira (logstash.jira.com) for tickets now.
