What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. use a underscore in the div e.g. <div name="_myContent">
2. reload page in IE6
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The flash version of the content, instead IE6 hangs completely

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
IE6, XP

Well I think it depends on which DTD or SGML rules your web page is using to
begin
with. According to some declarations you are not allowed to use underscores.
Furthermore, this is nothing SWFObject related, maybe IE related, however just
use
common sense when authoring a web page and avoid things that might not work
cross-browser.
