Cannot get plugin to work on OS X #2

Hi Dan,

I would love to use your plugin in Sublime in order to have the same note-linking feature as nvalt within my favorite text editor (for writing). However, despite trying various sources about packages and their manual installation under Sublime I cannot get this to run which is most probably totally my fault.

The downloaded files were placed under the Packages/User folder under OS X (El Capitan), the settings file updated to the correct path under OS X and Sublime Text restarted several times - no luck. The plugin also does not show in Package Control under the listed packages being installed.

As I have seen a similar entry my hope is you would be kind enough to help me getting to run this under Mac OS X.
