This is simply feedback based on a use case I was trying last night. I wanted to get the current state of a project that we are working on so asked the question "What is the current state of the xxx project?". The answer was outdated referring to the state of an older iteration since the ordering of retrieved documents didn't consider this temporal dimension.
I was just wondering if a question involves date ranges or temporal terms whether this shouldn't impact what is retrieved or how results are weighted?
