Might be a stupid question, but what are the "ui" category bindings in SteamVR for? They don't seem to affect the overlay nagivation, and the E:D cockpit panels are either navigated using the overlay "MENU" button, or configured through the game bindings.
I'm asking as I'm looking for a way to navigate the cockpit panels (more specifically the UI tab next/previous) using the thumbstick click. I'm already using the HAT/POV2 for other functions, and the SteamVR "menu" bindings don't allow me to trick the menu controls into working for "UI tab next/previous" (since the only "menu" bindings are UI up/down/left/right navigation, UI select/back, and UI nested toggle).
I thought the "ui" SteamVR bindings would help, since they even include "UI Tab next/previous" bindings, but to no avail.
