Version 0.9.13 or higher won't open on my iPhone. Get message "Safari cannot open this file" #84

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installing 0.9.13 or higher
2. Running the application
3. Entering the address in Safari on the iPhone

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to see the remote program, get "Safari cannot open this file." If I open
the address on my
laptop, it downloads a file labeled "10.0.1.2" (My ip address) to my desktop.
Older versions work
fine.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.9.13 or higher. OSX 10.4.10

Please provide any additional information below.

you are using https and the correct port?

Yes. The correct address and correct port. If I run 0.9.12 or lower and hit the
iPhone Safari refresh button, it
comes right up and starts working. The same happens on my laptop's browser. It
comes right up with 0.9.12 or
lower, but run a higher version of the server and hit refresh in the browser
and it downloads a file to the desktop
instead.

Oh yeah, and tried other ports too. Also, if you do happen to type the wrong
port it will say, "File not found" or
something like that. It's saying, "Can't open file" because just like the
Laptop's Safari Browser, it's trying to
download a file instead of displaying it. If gone over the steps a dozen times
and it's only working with 0.9.12 or
less.

when i try to connect in my iPhone, safari shows this:
BAD REQUEST
your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Reason: you are speaking plain HTTP to an SSL-enabled served port.
Instead use the HTTPS scheme to access this URL.
how can i fix it???

on some routers it may require that you use the port number in the address...

192.168.1.1:XXXX
