Remote Locks Up for 2 seconds on Button Press #88

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try and press the skip time a few times in a row quickly. It will only 
accept one button press 
about every two seconds. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.9.18

Please provide any additional information below.
This only happens on the newer versions. If you go back to something like 
0.9.7, the delay is much 
shorter.

Just to clarify, I am talking about the iTunes Remote specifically. And I meant 
to say "skip button a few times in a 
row"
