typing from screen .tapp #96

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. go into the screen app
2. open a window like textedit that will show text
3. choose to type something, and then type any character that usually
requires the shift key on a normal keyboard (@#$%^? etc.).

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
@#$%^? is the expected output
23456/ is what comes out

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.9.19 Mac

Having this problem also on Leopard. Tried on iPhone and using another computer 
for remote access.
