Rotation of screen = easy kill #66

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Attack a monster one time (4ap)
2. Change orientation to/from landscape (rotate device)
3. Have all ap back to attack again (ap value returns to 10)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The ap should not be reset when the orientation is changed

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
version 0.6.6 android 2.1 SE x10 mini

Please provide any additional information below.
This makes all enemies really easy to kill ;)

I can confirm that this also is happening on the newest version up to this
date, on a Android 2.1 Update1 Motorola Milestone.

Oh wow, this is a bug, my fault :) Actually I'm quite embarrased that I didn't
spot this while testing the game.

It also affects savegames (or rather, the cause is the savegames). If you exit
the game while it is your turn, you will get your AP back when starting next
time.

It is pretty easy to solve though. I already have a fix for it ready.

Thank you very much for reporting it! Please report more bugs that you find!

There was also an additional bug in this. If you rotate the screen (or go back
to startscreen) while the monsters are attacking, you could force the monster
turn to end. In effect, restarting your own turn.

This is now also fixed.
