Comparea currently shows shapes side-by-side if their sizes are within a factor of 4 (example). If the difference is greater, it shows them on top of one another (example).
People seem to get excited about the latter UI, or move shapes to recreate it. So it might make sense to reduce the threshold, say to 3 or 2.5.
