GitHub pages is perfectly happy to serve AJAX requests. Since Comparea is pure static content, there's no reason it needs to be hosted on Heroku. GH pages should be fine, and considerably simpler, too!
This won't be possible given the URL scheme. If it were /#A+B it would be fine, but it's /A+B, which isn't easy to support in GitHub pages.
