I have a question about our target audience. Are we focusing on people who have never seen computer code before or those who have at least some basic understanding? I'm unsure how detailed my explanations need to be.
In my opinion, it's better to provide a simple explanation of the topic along with exercises. This way, the person can use Google to search for more information about the subject. I believe it's more valuable to show the correct path with exercises and leave detailed explanations to online resources. I don't want to reinvent the wheel. Additionally, learning to find good resources is a valuable skill. Reading code and understanding topics through internet research can be very beneficial.
Sorry sleaper, i just saw this question now idk how I missed it.
This is a good question, I agree with your opinion. I think we should provide a simple explanation but then have them learn either from online resources or following the C book. I think we just need o strike a balance between too vague and just right.
FYI will review this one in depth tonight.
