Facebook OAuth Dialog won't dismiss, just turns white. (used to work, just randomly stopped) #335

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. On a browser flash app, triggger the login
2. when the OAuth dialog appears, enter credentials press log in
3. the dialog won't dismiss

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I should see the dialog dismiss, but it just turns white then stays there.
never closes

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.6.1 Chrome Mac

Please provide any additional information below.
The same exact code and everything worked many times. and just randomly stopped
working. Did facebook change something on us?

On a side note, my mobile app using the FacebookMobile swc brings up a white
dialog that says "Please try again later" so im thinking facebook changed
something on us. Is there going to be an update to support the changes?

Been a problem with Google Chrome for a while now. Any help in fixing this

Sounds like Facebook fixed the issue on their end, can you confirm please
Bry...@gmail.com?

My original stated issue, "OAuth Dialog wont dismiss" is still happening
Chrome 13.0.782.112

I mentioned the "please try again later via mobile as a side note, just incase
it was related, but the main issue reported was not solved, please open this.

This used to work with the same code. now it does not. I tested just now

I was having this problem with Google Chrome. But it wasn't happening on other
machines with google chrome only mine. So I had to reinstall Google Chrome for
my machine to fix the problem. You have to make sure you delete your
preference/setting files for google chrome as well. This fixed the problem for
me.

Oh, sorry Bry...@gmail.com, my bad. So is the "Please try again later" bug
fixed though?

Yes, I just tested again using my Nexus One, the "Please try again later" bug
is fixed. I realize it could have been confusing to mention it. But i figured
since they were both related to Authenticating and happened at the same time
they could have been related. But now that works.

Here's a screen shot of the blank dialog that im stuck with AFTER i enter my FB
credentials and hit log in.
