In this updating, we were able to make use of browser extensions to copy-paste data from PIPS to PIPOL regional and provincial breakdown given limited time. If we have more time, we may be able to improve this extension to include other fields in the PIPOL system. If we can do this, it will be easier for the staff to copy-paste data between the systems and keep them in sync.
I tried to implement this but the problem I encountered was the dropdown-select which did not have an internal state tracker.
