Could you add support for embedding (any) Gist? I'm aware there are already other libs/JS which do this but would be nice if yours did it all.

It's relatively easy to include so I''ll think about it. If enough +1s hit this then I'll make it a priority. Right now history/navigation and some bugs are on my plate.
