  I created this PR to address this rule:

  "All documentation should be sphinx-compatible."

  Description

  This PR addresses the issue of converting the documentation in the files docs/modules/modules.md and docs/signatures/signatures.md from markdown to reStructuredText format, which is compatible with Sphinx.

The conversion was done using a tool like Pandoc, and the output was reviewed carefully to ensure it meets the project's documentation standards.

Any code blocks were properly formatted for Sphinx, and any links between different parts of the documentation were correctly set up for Sphinx's inter-document linking.

Finally, the Sphinx documentation was built locally and reviewed to ensure that the converted documentation renders correctly.
