Maxwell's minions have low health, are expensive, wander around a lot and you can only have up to 5. Not many people use him since he's hard to play. Some ideas to buff him are to:

Make the minions cost less
Buff the minions when Maxwell has the dark sword or night armour equipped
Have a radius that the minions must stay in
Make the minions "smarter" (attacking what Maxwell is attacking or getting hurt by, kiting, etc.)

maxwell is already pretty powerful rn, honestly, we can just leave his character as is right now
