Cant get android tethering to work. Still no network.. Can you help me? #1

Hello,

I saw your tutorial on how to update the realtek drivers on the mini pc. I am a little bit broken right now and wanted to ask if you could help me getting the network going to get the realtek drivers. I just cant get the phone tethering working. During the proxmox gui installation it recognices the phone as a network interface (i can decide between wifi or the phone network). But when i leave the config as default (IP, Gateway etc) i still dont have a network connection after the install...

Hey, when I connect the cable from Phone to PC I turn on USB tethering. Then after turning on the PC it has access to the internet. You can check with the ping command. ping 8.8.8.8

PS. The USB cable must support data transfer (check on different cables, a regular one for charging will not be enough).
